 Central aim of organisation
visions and technologies for a healthy and productive society

 Briefly describe your organisation
KOHS (Harald A. Kviecien GmbH) is an Austrian research oriented organisation specialized in ergonomics, occupational safety and health as well as social research and implementation of health management since 1997.
KOHS provides a great variety of competences in the areas of risk assessment and risk communication based on research in the fields of semantic web, wearable sensors and internet of things (IoT).
KOHS performs technical research and development to create ICT-tools for optimising prevention and learning processes. The KOHS team developed the first just-in-time PIMEX system for risk management, which is used by occupational safety and health institutions in many countries for about 14 years.
A main focus of KOHS is European wide knowledge exchange for optimising health structures and industrial development. KOHS implements best practice regarding social risks such as inclusion, active aging, re-integration or diversity in health care and social systems at municipal and international level.
