Briefly describe your organisation
The Institute for Systems Engineering and Automation (SEA) is part of the Johannes Kepler University and situated in Linz, Austria. SEA is a leading research institute on software and systems engineering. Its mission is to conduct basic and applied research on software engineering and the development of software-intensive systems (systems of systems) – with a focus on the increasingly vital role of software in systems. Our research interests lie in software modeling (consistency, traceability, impact of a change), product line engineering (and other forms of variability), requirements engineering, and process modeling.
SEA has a strong track record for working on software-intensive systems in interdisciplinary domains. Members of SEA worked extensively with companies such as Northrop Grumman Company, Sarnoff, Honeywell, BMF, Boeing Company, Mitre Corporation, Siemens VAI, Siemens CT.
